Program Overview:
Home Inspector Academy is a 13-day, intensive, hands-on crash course in home inspections. The course is led by an experienced and active home inspector based in Boise, Idaho.

State Licensing Disclaimer:

Home Inspector Academy welcomes students from across the United States but does not provide guidance or guarantee compliance with any state-specific licensing, insurance, or legal requirements. It is the responsibility of each apprentice to research and comply with their state’s requirements.
Home Inspector Academy is not a licensing agency, does not issue state licenses, and does not provide legal advice.

Educational Scope:

Our program provides a comprehensive, in-person introduction to the home inspection industry. Apprentices receive training in inspection procedures, business promotion, client interactions, and report writing. However, we do not claim to teach every detail of the industry or replace continued education. The course is a certificate-based educational program, not an accredited college or university course.

Travel, Lodging & Liability:

  • A discounted hotel stay may be arranged, but any disputes between the apprentice and the hotel are outside of Home Inspector Academy's responsibility.

  • Transportation is provided for required training days, Adventure Days, and airport pickup/drop-off for out-of-state apprentices. Local apprentices are responsible for their own transportation.

  • Home Inspector Academy is not responsible for injuries sustained during training, travel, Adventure Days, or any part of the program. No insurance is provided.

  • Adventure Days are optional and are undertaken at your own risk.

Limitations of Liability:

In the event of a dispute between an apprentice and Home Inspector Academy, LLC, all parties agree that compensation will be limited to a maximum refund of $500. All disputes must be resolved through mediation.

Confidentiality Agreement:

All materials, client interactions, and inspection protocols taught during the program are considered proprietary and may not be shared with other inspectors, companies, or third parties.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • All apprentices must be citizens of the United States.

  • Must be 18 years or older to enroll.
